PROJECT INCLUSIVE
Launched in late 2024 Project Inclusive aims to support children with additional needs get access to bikes and support so they can learn to enjoy the freedom that bikes offer.
In partnership with Pashley Cycles, the longest-established British bicycle manufacturer we are proud to support an inclusive initiative for children with additional needs.
Here at ROCA Sports we are deeply passionate that cycling should be something that everyone of all ages and all capabilities should enjoy.
The 'Robin' tricycle, from Pashley Cycles is one of their flagship products and an ideal adaptive tricycle. With Pashley Cycles rich heritage and focus on quality, we are proud to have introduced this pilot scheme in Ireland. Adaptive cycling supports children with additional needs in a number of ways, including reducing stress and enhancing both their physical and mental well-being. With new Greenway paths being built across Ireland, it means that everyone can feel part of a community and be supported.
Learning a new skill, like cycling, can help children with additional needs to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.
How can you help?
We are asking for your help, we aim to ensure that every school, every additional needs centre and project across Ireland has access to the equipment they need so every child can learn to cycle.
Your reach as a club, team or business far outweighs ours and with your help we can help make a change together.
